7D Food International or now known as FPD Food International Inc. is a manufacturing business of world-class and quality mango products.
7D Food International was founded in 1972 by Mr. Francisco David and established as a sole proprietorship with mango as its major product. It started processing fresh mangoes into dried mangoes which is popularly known for its one of a kind sweet and sour taste.
As years passed by, aside from dried mangoes they started producing other mango-made products such as Mango Puree, Mangarind (a mixture of sweet mangoes and ripened tamarind), Mango Nectar (the ready-to-drink mango juice in a doypack), Mango Jelly Juice (the ready-to-drink mango juice in a resealable pack) and lastly, the recently produced Chocolate-enrobed Dried Mangoes and Dried Pineapples.
For their 47 years of running in this business, they have received many awards that proves their credibility and excellent products and services. In 1994, they have received the VIII International Europe Award for Quality in Paris which led them to be recognized internationally. In 2007, they were awarded as the "Most Outstanding Dried Mangoes" and in 2011 was awarded as the Dried Mangoes Supplier of the Year by the Business Achievement and Recognition Awards Council for its ability to deliver excellent products and excellent services. In 2016, the company received the Golden Global Annual Awards for Business Excellence by Sinag News Magazine and was chosen by Sunstar's Best of Cebu for having the Best Dried Mangoes.
7D Food International has to two plants which is located in Carmen, Cebu and Mandaue City. The Initial inspection is done in their plant located in Carmen that was opened last 2014 to increase their capacity of production. The production that was held in Carmen plant is the Receiving, Sorting, Washing, Peeling, Slicing and Drying the fresh mangoes. After the last process of production in Carmen, the mangoes will be delivered in Mandaue plant located in Sacris Road, A.S. Fortuna St., Bakilid, Mandaue City where the dried mangoes proceed to Final inspection. In this process, they will be Sorting, Packaging, X-raying and Boxing the mangoes that will pass the inspections.
The 7D Store is also located in this plant in Mandaue wherein they sell their products cheaper than the mall prices since they are the direct supplier. Everybody is always welcome in their store and also in their plant as long as you have been permitted. They already have lots of distributors around the world and this just really prove how excellent their products are.
