Wanted to see Roman Architecture Designs but is too broke to visit Rome? The Queen City of the South has something inspiring to present to you!

Located in the highlands of Busay in Cebu City is a Roman Architecture inspired edifice that is known to be a symbol of the love of a man to his beloved wife. This man, Teodorico Adarna, the owner of Temple of Leah and the grandfather of the actress Ellen Adarna, made this palace to show his strong and undying love to his wife Leah Villa Albino-Adarna, where he named the temple.

The temple is also know as the Philippine version of Taj Mahal and is already one of the tourist destinations in Cebu from the day it was opened to the public.

In front of the main edifice is a very large area on where you can see the view of the downtown area of the city which is very relaxing and refreshing. At the center is a fountain with a statue of three women and three horses below it. Sudden changes of the weather is also not a problem since there are also tables with umbrellas lining up in this big area.

Before entering the temple, you can see the two giant lions lying on each side of the stairs that leads you to a more palace-like venue. There's a grand staircase with two angel statues on its side and at the center is the queen sitting on a thrown with a flower crown on her head. The temple has a museum, library and an art gallery on where the favorite things that Leah Villa used are now stored.

The place is also a good venue for pictorials and a good spot for picture taking if you want to have Roman-inspired photos on your social media.

Instead of spending a lot of money traveling to Rome for Roman Architecture designs or Roman-inspired photos, why not try this one of a kind edifice in Cebu. You'll surely admire this place that is made with strong love and devotion. Entrance Fee is only P50 per person.
